another update on the rachel-is-cursed story.
so i go to the maxwell's site, and see that it now says longwave are playing on august 2. so i go to longwave's message board, and leave this message:
first i saw that longwave would be playing maxwell's on june 8, and it surprised me cos a) it wasn't on longwave's official site and b) maybe i'm wrong, but i figured the guys would probably want to check out what's going on at field day....
at first i was upset about this, cos i was going to field day, and had no idea how i was gonna get to hoboken from long island (but somehow i was going to) but now it looks i'm not going to field day, and now maxwell's has moved the date to august 2, which sucks cos i wanted to see them sooner rather than later and also was hoping i could beg to be let in to the last call with carson show. bahh
WHICH DAY IS IT?? :)
here is what jim, their manager, said in return:
They're going to be playing August 2. Your guess why the June show isn't happening is dead on, but it looks like Field Day is not going to happen for the band.
can you believe it? longwave were GOING to see about playing field day, but couldn't get a spot i guess. and we all know why that happened.
COS I WAS GOING. if i had never bought tickets, longwave would definitely have been able to play. i must apologise to the band. hahaaahhahhaahah
oh man i saw bend it like beckham. it was really really good. really. i loved it. there were all little kids and old people in the theatre. i don't think any of them understood any of the british sayings, such as "he's fit" and "she's a right stroppy cow." haha but i did. cos i'm a super loser. yep. and it doesn't hurt that one of the stars, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, is beautiful. yep. i'd see it again. and again. and again. haha
i gotta finish writing this kick ass poem on The Grapes of Wrath.
